how do you melt white chocolate

Are you on the White Chocolate team? Do you prefer milk chocolate or decadent dark chocolate? Whichever group you''re in, there are a few different ways to use chocolate. One of them is to use it in desserts, which usually requires melting the chocolate.

Whether you''re on the white, dark or milk chocolate team, chocolate is versatile. It can be used as a topping for your favourite cereal, eaten as it is, but most often it ends up in the recipe of your choice for your next dessert. However, it''s usually necessary to melt the chocolate before using it. This time we share two ways to melt white chocolate.

Delicious, tempting and creamy , white chocolate is popular all over the world. You can dip strawberries in melted white chocolate, decorate freshly baked biscuits with it, add it to whipped cream to make mousse, decorate cakes with it.

White chocolate burns easily, so it is important to melt it with indirect heat - otherwise you are left with a lumpy, useless mess.

White chocolate consists of cocoa butter, milk powder, sugar, vanilla and soya lecithin. Although it contains fat from cocoa pods, it does not contain any of the cocoa particles that give dark chocolate its taste and characteristics. And although white chocolate melts in roughly the same way as dark chocolate, a little more care is needed when melting, as white chocolate is slightly more complex due to its ingredients and structure.

1. How do you melt white chocolate? With the help of a water bath.

This doesn''t mean soaking a measured amount of white chocolate in a bath, but there is still an unwritten rule: chocolate and water are not best friends and they don''t like each other. When they do, you get a lumpy mixture and beautiful textures of melted chocolate. Prepare the water chocolate bath by taking two different sized containers. Pour water into the larger one, but only enough to fill the bottom, or enough so that the other, smaller container does not come into contact with the water. The smaller pot must be large enough to fit on top of the pot, as it is placed on top of the pot of water. Bring the water to the boil in the larger pot, place the smaller pot on top and shake in the measured amount of white chocolate. Make sure that the pot of boiling water does not touch the bottom of the pot containing the white chocolate.

Before melting, the chocolate should be cut into pieces as evenly as possible so that it melts evenly. BAM chocolates are shaped into smaller drops for this very reason, so that they melt faster and more evenly.

Make sure that the heat is not too high, as the white chocolate will burn. White chocolate melts faster due to its sugar content and therefore needs more attention during melting.

2. How do you melt white chocolate? Using a microwave.

You can also melt white chocolate using a microwave. Place the chocolate drops in a bowl. Make sure the container is suitable for use in the microwave. Heat, but not more than 20 seconds at a time. Each time the 20 seconds are up, remove the chocolate from the microwave and stir. Repeat the process until the measured amount is completely melted.

Whichever method is chosen in the end, the result will be melted white chocolate.Let the thinking about dessert with white chocolate begin.
