The spice blend used to make turmeric milk, also known as golden milk, is an Indian spice blend used to create a vibrant yellow drink. According to Ayurvedic tradition, this drink has remarkable healing properties and is popular as a natural remedy to strengthen the immune system and prevent disease. The main ingredient in this mixture is turmeric, rich in curcumin, which is activated by black pepper. In addition, other spices are added to the mix to complement the flavour and aroma. How to store

Spices should be stored at room temperature between 15 and 25°C, in a dry and dark place. The room temperature should never exceed 25°C, and spices should not be exposed to direct sunlight.

Instructions

Heat about 2 dl of milk in a small saucepan.
Put a teaspoon of the golden milk mixture in a cup and pour a small amount of the hot milk over it. Stir to make a thick paste, then add the remaining milk. Stir well.
If desired, sweeten with a teaspoon of honey, brown sugar or agave syrup. One packet is enough to make about 30 drinks.

BAM Tip: For even better absorption of the ingredients, you can add a teaspoon of coconut butter to the cup when preparing the drink. You can also use any milk you like, either cow''s milk or plant milk. Try different sweeteners and discover your favourite flavour combination!
