1. Step Preheat the oven to 180 °C and line a 23 x 23 x 5 cm baking tray with baking paper.
2. Step Melt the BAM dark chocolate drops with the butter over a water bath. Pour the chocolate mixture into a large bowl and add the white and brown sugar. Mix until the ingredients are combined. Add the eggs, BAM vanilla paste and salt. Mix well until the ingredients are combined. Gently stir in the flour with a spatula. Stir until the mixture is free of lumps. Pour about 3/4 of the batter onto the prepared baking pan.
3. Step In a separate bowl, mix the mascarpone and sugar until a uniform mixture is formed. Add the egg and BAM vanilla paste. Whisk again until combined. Pour the cheesecake filling on top of the batter that is resting on the baking sheet. Fill the space left between the cheesecake filling with the rest of the dough. Use a skewer or knife to "wrap" the cheesecake filling into the brownies. Sprinkle BAM chocolate drops on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until just a few brownie crumbs remain on a toothpick inserted into the brownies. Chill the brownies for at least 2 hours before cutting.
