These chocolate banana muffins are great for breakfast and dessert. They taste wonderful and have a great texture. We have combined the intense taste of chocolate with the sweet taste of banana. This time we also added almond flour for extra flavour.

We used sesame oil in the recipe, but you can easily replace it with sunflower oil, vegetable oil, etc.

Ingredients:

  • 150g flour
  • 50g almond flour
  • 30g brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 100ml white sesame oil
  • 100g honey
  • 240g ripe bananas (approx. 3 medium bananas)
  • 65g BAM dark chocolate

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Line a muffin tray with paper muffin liners.

Separate the dry from the wet ingredients and mix the dry ingredients in a separate bowl.

Add the egg, oil and honey, then mix well to make a smooth, uniform mixture.

Add the mashed bananas and chocolate drops, and whisk everything together.

Fill the prepared muffin tray with the prepared mixture and bake for 20 minutes. Allow to cool and then serve.
