Melt the chocolate chunks and butter in a saucepan over a water bath. Stir the eggs, milk and Whiskey into the melted chocolate.

Sift the flour and baking powder separately and add the sugar, a pinch of salt and the vanilla sugar. Then, using an electric mixer, fold the contents into the chocolate mixture.

Prepare a baking tray lined with baking paper and pour the mixture into it. Place the baking tray in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 45 minutes. Serve the whiskey chocolate cake chilled, garnished and dusted with icing sugar, if desired.
