
Ingredients:
- 560 g flour
- 600 g sugar
- 85 g cocoa powder
- 235 ml vegetable oil
- 710 ml of water
- 15 g baking soda
- 3 g salt
- 45 ml vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 175° C and prepare a baking tray of suitable size - about 20 cm in diameter. Oil the baking tray and dust with flour.

Sift the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Then add the sugar and mix well.

Add the oil, water and vanilla extract while stirring and knead until smooth.

Pour the mixture into the baking tray and bake at 175° C for one hour.

If desired, top the sponge with melted edible chocolate or other icing, or cut the cake open and add the filling. This eggless chocolate cake is ready to decorate!
