Ingredients:

Instructions:

1
Heat the butter in a pan and dissolve the coffee beans in 3,5 dl of boiling water.
2
Stir the heated butter, chocolate and hot coffee in a heatproof bowl until the ingredients are completely evenly mixed. Add the sugar with a hand whisk until it is completely incorporated into the other ingredients. Add the hand-beaten eggs and vanilla extract and whisk until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
3
In a separate plastic bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and a pinch of salt and whisk the mixture with the chocolate mixture in another bowl using a hand whisk. You will notice that the batter is still runny at this stage, so don''t be alarmed if you skip any of the steps.
4
Line a baking tray with baking paper and pour the batter into it. Bake at 170 °C for about one hour. Check if the cake is baked by sticking a toothpick into the centre of the pastry. If there are pieces of dough on the toothpick, the dough is not yet baked. However, if the toothpick is completely dry or has very few dry bits of dough on it, the dough is baked. Wait for about 20 minutes, then take the dough out of the oven to cool completely.
5
While the dough is cooling, you can prepare the chocolate cream to make your chocolate treat perfect. Whisk the whipping cream in a small heatproof bowl on the stove with a whisk attachment, stirring occasionally, and bring to the boil. As soon as it starts to boil, remove the pan from the stove and shake the chocolate drops into it, stirring until all the drops are coated with the cream.
6
Cover the resulting mixture with the lid to retain the heat in the container. Leave to stand for 5 minutes. Then uncover the bowl and stir the chocolate drops with a whisk in the centre of the bowl. Stop when the mixture is completely smooth and turns into a velvety chocolate cream. Leave to stand at room temperature (approx. 20 °C) for 15 minutes, then you can start decorating the cake.
7
Making a chocolate cake is not as difficult as it may seem at first glance. What''s more, it can be quite simple to make and is suitable even for pure beginners in the kitchen. As an added advantage, this delicious and quickly prepared chocolate treat will keep for up to 5 days in a refrigerated oven. Of course, that also depends on whether you can resist it. Have a good run!
