Remove the paper wrapping from the can of condensed milk.
Place the tin in a large pot and cover it with warm water.
Cook on a low heat for about 2 to 3 hours. The water in the pot mustn't dry out, so add it if necessary.
When the cooking time is finished, remove the tin from the pot and allow it to cool completely before opening it.
