marble cake with sour cream

A marble cake with sour cream is a type of cake that combines two different colours and flavours of dough. Typically, the dough is intertwined to create a marble colour effect. Yoghurt can also be added to the marble cake for freshness, but we suggest adding sour cream for a creamier texture and extra richness.

1. How do I make a marble tart with sour cream?

To make a marble cake with sour cream, you need to prepare two different cake batters, usually one vanilla batter and one chocolate batter, which is obtained by adding cocoa. The two mixtures are then stirred in the baking tray so that when the cake is cut, the traditional marbled pattern is revealed. Sour cream is added to the mixture to create a rich flavour and a soft and delicate texture. The sour cream in the recipe also ensures that the cake stays fresh and juicy for several days after baking.

Marble tart with sour cream is a popular dessert that can be served for any occasion. Whether it's birthdays or other special occasions. For extra sweetness and decoration, it can be topped with topping, icing or icing sugar.

Bake the cake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Cool the cake in the tin for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
