Mousse with white chocolate and mango topping is a dessert that is extremely easy to prepare, light and airy, melt-in-your-mouth, with a delicious fruity flavour, made with just five ingredients. The perfect treat for all mango and chocolate lovers.

What is a mousse anyway ? A mousse is a soft dessert, sometimes with a light and airy texture, sometimes with a creamy and dense texture, depending on how it is prepared. A mousse is made with whipped egg whites or whipped cream or a combination of both. A mousse is usually chilled for at least 3 to 4 hours, preferably overnight.

This time, we will combine the sweet taste of white chocolate and the refreshing fruity taste of mango topping. The fruit preparation is made from more than 70% mango and is therefore perfect as a filling for various desserts, or to brighten up the taste of ice cream, cake or quick slices and mousses with its distinctive flavour or as a topping.

Melt the white chocolate in the microwave or in a water bath until smooth. Add 80 ml whipping cream and stir until the chocolate thickens.

Add the remaining sweet cream, BAM vanilla paste, 2 tablespoons sugar to a bowl and whisk with a whisk or stick mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually add the white chocolate to the whipped cream and mix until smooth. Do not whisk, otherwise the trapped air will escape from the whipped cream - and the mousse will be thick.

Transfer the mousse to serving dessert glasses and then add the BAM mango topping. Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight for best results.
