This could be your new best no-bake chocolate cake recipe. With its super moist and soft interior, light texture and easy preparation, it can save you in many situations: when you have unannounced visitors or want to satisfy your sweet tooth without a mountain of dirty dishes waiting for you at the end of the day. The ingredients also make it easy to prepare, because the no-bake chocolate cake is made with only six ingredients.

Milk and dark chocolate give it flavor, stiffly whipped cream and condensed milk make it rich, and cookies and butter give it texture.

The ingredients are for a cake with 8 servings in a 23 cm baking pan. If your baking pan is larger or smaller, you don't need to adjust the amount of ingredients. If the baking pan is smaller, the cake will be taller, if it is larger, the cake will be flatter.

BAM tip: Line the baking pan you use with baking paper. This makes it easier to remove the cake from the ring and serve it.

Ingredients:

  • 200 g BAM dark chocolate
  • 200 g BAM milk chocolate
  • 400 g condensed milk
  • 170 ml whipped heavy cream
  • 30 g unsalted butter
  • 340 g tea biscuits

Instructions:

Crush the cookies using a stand mixer or using a hammer and a plastic bag. Melt the chocolate and butter over a water bath.

When the chocolate has melted and cooled a bit, add the stiffly whipped cream and the condensed milk. Mix gently until all the ingredients are well combined. When the mixture is well combined, pour it into the bowl with the crushed cookies. Mix the batter well.

Prepare the baking pan in which you want the no-bake chocolate cake to cool, by lining it with parchment paper. Then pour in the prepared chocolate mixture and press it down lightly with a fork. Cover the mixture with a foil and refrigerate for at least 6 hours. Once the cake is chilled, it's ready to serve! Before serving, you can sprinkle it with cocoa powder and add toasted hazelnuts, crispies or popping chocolate candy. Bon appetit!
