Ingredients:

  • 190 g flour
  • 1 bag of baking powder (14 g)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 300 ml of milk
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 60 ml apple pie
  • 1 teaspoon BAM vanilla paste

Instructions:

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar until well combined. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, applesauce and BAM vanilla paste. Stir until the ingredients are combined and smooth. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until fully combined. Be careful not to over-mix the batter as this can result in rubbery pancakes.

Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the pancake mix to the hot pan. We recommend a ratio of one scoop to one pancake. Cook the pancakes for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Serve the pancakes with your favourite toppings such as maple syrup, butter, fruit, whipped cream, BAM spreads or BAM toppings.
