ruby chocolate brownies

These chocolate brownies don't need any extra decoration; they are gorgeous on their own. The combination of strawberries and dark chocolate has always been known as the perfect match in a variety of desserts. But when you add ruby chocolate to brownies, with its delicate colour, delicate aroma and just a hint of summer berry flavour, it takes chocolate brownies to the next level. This recipe gives you the perfect balance and a wonderful harmony of flavours.

CHOCO-Tip: Serve completely chilled, with fresh strawberries and a sprinkling of powdered sugar. Brownies can also be drizzled with ruby chocolate and decorated with chocolate chips or chocolate crispy.

Ruby chocolate brownies

Ingredients:

Instructions:

1. Step Cut the butter into cubes and add it to the dark chocolate drops. Put everything together in a saucepan over a medium heat. Slowly heat and melt the mixture until it is smooth and glossy.
2. Step Remove from the heat, stir in the sugar and cocoa powder and mix until smooth. The added sugar will lower the temperature slightly and the mixture may appear slightly grainy, but that's fine.
3. Step Add the vanilla yoghurt and vanilla paste, and stir again until the mixture is smooth.
4. Step Finally, add the sifted flour. Add the flour carefully and gradually until you have a smooth mixture again.
5. Step Add the ruby chocolate and the finely chopped strawberry pieces, and stir gently until combined.
6. Step Line a small rectangular baking tray (20x20 cm) with baking paper, pour in the batter, smooth it out as much as possible and then bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 25 minutes. You can check whether the brownie is baked with a toothpick. If the toothpick is dry when you take it out, the brownies are baked. But be careful, they need to remain soft and slightly moist, so it's okay if you underbake them a little.
7. Step When they are baked and ready, remove from the oven and leave to cool completely on a rack. Once completely cooled, cut and serve. The quantity of ingredients in the recipe is for 9 pieces.
