Sangria is a cocktail that is usually a part of Spanish summer terrace parties. Traditionally, Spaniards drink a coffee in the morning, work a little, rest in the afternoon (or take a siesta) and then work some more. In the evening, they end the day with tapas and a good drink. The glasses are usually filled with sangria, a fruit drink that contains alcohol as well as various types of fruit. We also added sour cherries along with oranges, blueberries and apples.
BAM Sour Cherry Topping is a fruit product consisting of more than 70% juicy and slightly sour pitted sour cherries. Sour Cherry Topping goes well with both savory and sweet dishes and is therefore also a welcome ingredient for a refreshing fruit sangria.
You can also use the BAM Sour Cherry Topping as a hot topping and pour it over homemade ice cream. You can find the recipe HERE.
