Ingredients:
- 500 ml of milk
- 50g sugar
- 50g BAM white chocolate drops
- 3 egg yolks
- 40g cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon BAM vanilla paste
- pinch of salt
Instructions:
1
In a bowl, mix the egg yolks, half the sugar, cornstarch and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth. In another saucepan, bring the milk and remaining sugar to the boil. Make sure the milk does not boil.
2
While the milk is heating, gradually pour a few tablespoons of the hot milk into the egg yolk and starch mixture. Slowly stir until the ingredients are combined and heated through.
3
When the egg yolk and milk mixture is well mixed, return it to the bowl with the remaining hot milk. Place the pan back on the stove and cook over a medium heat, stirring constantly. Add the BAM chocolate drops.
4
The pudding should be cooked until it thickens, which usually takes about 5-7 minutes. When the pudding has reached the desired thickness, remove the pan from the stove. Stir in the BAM vanilla paste and pour the pudding into the serving dishes.
5
Allow the pudding to cool at room temperature, then place it in the fridge for at least a couple of hours to chill and firm up. The pudding can be decorated as desired before serving. Freeze-dried raspberries, marshmellows or fresh fruit are perfect accompaniments to the pudding.
