5 tips for sweet wedding gifts online shop mojacokoladasi

Sweet wedding gifts may seem like a rather traditional choice, but you can spice it up and add a whole new dimension. Your wedding guests will be delighted!

It is customary to give a small gift to the bride and groom as they leave the wedding, to symbolise their gratitude for having shared one of the most special days of their lives. Of course, there is also the dilemma of what that gift should be.

For example, some couples choose to frame their (wedding) photo, others opt for the more traditional confetti, and various statuettes and the like are also popular.

These are all nice gifts that have a memory value, but nowadays, when we are mostly surrounded by a flood of different things, it often happens that such gifts get stashed away in a drawer or cupboard, where they slowly sink into oblivion. Experience has shown that in most cases, it is still the sweet wedding gifts that make the best wishes for the in-laws. They will certainly not become "dust catchers", but at the same time, the preparation of such gifts still gives the future spouses enough space to put their personal stamp on them.

1. Be original!

Some couples choose to give their in-laws the cakes they served at the wedding. This is not the best idea for at least two reasons. The first is that the wedding guests are likely to have overeaten the cakes at the reception and are unlikely to enjoy them in the days to come, and the second has to do with the fact that such sweet wedding gifts are rather predictable and therefore unlikely to be remembered by the guests, which is supposed to be one of the key purposes of the gift. So we advise you to opt for more original solutions, maybe even ones with a bit of an exotic touch. One option is, for example, pralines made of high-quality chocolate, with an almond or other nut hidden inside if you wish. Dried fruit coated with any type of chocolate can also be a very satisfying choice. You don''t have to go overboard on quantity, but rather prioritise quality and choose truly premium products, preferably handmade.

2. Taste with your eyes...

The packaging of your sweet wedding gifts is also very important. The rather unsightly white cardboard box that is often used is certainly not the most compatible with such a special occasion as a wedding. Fortunately, nowadays there is a wide range of sweet treats in extremely neat packaging, which has been created with a lot of effort and creativity - there are even packages that have been designed with the wedding party in mind, and the choice of colours and decorations has been adapted to suit.

3. Personalised sweet wedding gifts.

The gifts for the in-laws will be a little more original and, above all, unique if you order them from one of the companies that offer personalised sweet wedding gifts. For example, it is possible to have your names, perhaps your wedding date or something else of your choice, engraved on the sweet treats you choose or on their wrapping. Just make sure that if you choose this option, you place your order well in advance, as this type of gift generally takes a little longer to make.

4. Add a dedication.

A dedication attached to each gift can be an extremely nice gesture. Avoid using clichéd thoughts or quotes. Instead, create a completely unique dedication, composed for each individual Saint. Poetry can also help - find a poem for each saint that describes your relationship or what that person means to you. This can also be the lyrics of a song related to the beautiful moments you have spent together. Of course, it will take a little more time to prepare such dedications, so it is important to invite only people who are really close to you and who mean something to you. It will make the words flow much more easily, but it''s also the best guarantee of a great day...

5. Watch the shelf life.

There is an additional drawback to serving cakes at a wedding. Most of the time, these confectionery items have a rather limited shelf life - while they may not spoil in the next few days, they will certainly be much less fresh and tasty. This means that the wedding guests will not have much choice as to when they would like to enjoy them and possibly reminisce about your wedding day. On the other hand, pralines, for example, if stored properly, will remain tasty and fresh for much longer than the pastries usually served at weddings. At the same time, if we are a bit superstitious, a longer shelf life of gifts for the in-laws can also be a good omen for your marriage and its longevity!
