BAM Buttercream is a versatile mix for making a silky, stable and rich buttercream that is the perfect choice for filling and decorating cakes, cupcakes or other desserts. After adding water and unsalted butter, the perfect no-cook custard is created in just a few steps. Its neutral base can be easily customised with the addition of BAM pastes, spreads or chocolate, making it ideal for everyday baking as well as for special occasions.

BAM Buttercream (400 g) is an innovative mix for making rich, long-lasting and creamy buttercream that works perfectly as a filling or coating for cakes, for decorating cupcakes or as a base for different flavours. Thanks to its easy preparation, it is suitable for beginners and experienced pastry chefs alike. The cream has a pleasant texture and is ready to use in just a few steps - just add water, leave to rest, stir in the whipped butter and it''s ready to go.


It can also be flavoured with BAM pastes, chocolate or spreads to create completely personalised desserts.

Ingredients

Sugar, dextrose, skimmed milk powder, modified starch (corn) E1422, coconut powder, sodium alginate E401, diphosphates E450, calcium sulphate E516.

How to store

The buttercream mixture should be stored at a temperature between 5 and 20°C in a dry, dark place. The room temperature should never exceed 25°C and the mixture should not be exposed to direct light. Avoid refrigerated storage. Store in tightly closed containers.

  1. All ingredients must be at room temperature. For 1 portion, combine 100 g of the mixture and 100 ml of water in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Leave to rest at room temperature (1 hour).
  2. Meanwhile, beat 120 g unsalted butter for about 5 minutes until light and creamy.
  3. Then gradually add the prepared mixture to the butter in four parts, whisking each time until fully combined.
  4. Once all the mixture has been added, whisk for about 10 minutes more until the cream is silky and smooth. One portion is enough for a cake with a diameter of 18-20 cm or 10-12 cupcakes.

Chocolate Tip: Add BAM paste, BAM spread or melted BAM chocolate to taste.
