Ingredients:

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 5 tablespoons dried lavender flowers
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g wheat flour
  • 5 g baking powder
  • 50 g cocoa
  • 5 tablespoons water

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar and lavender flowers. Add the eggs to the mixture and sift in the flour and baking powder. Mix well.

Pour the water into another pan, bring to the boil and add the cocoa, then stir. Pour the boiling water and cocoa into the dough and stir until the mixture is smooth.

Prepare a baking tin and pour the dough into it. Place the baking tray in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 35 to 40 minutes.

The only thing left to do is to prepare the topping. Melt the chocolate chunks, butter, sweet cream and sugar over a water bath.

Pour the cream over the cake, garnish with a sprig of lavender and serve.
