In a bowl, combine the softened butter, sugar and vanilla sugar. Gradually add the eggs to the butter mixture, followed by the grated courgettes and orange zest.

In another bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder, cocoa, cinnamon and salt. Stir the contents of the second bowl into the first bowl and add the milk, chocolate chips and nuts.

Prepare a baking tray, well greased or lined with baking paper, and fill it with the mixture. Place the baking tray in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 50 minutes.

To finish, make the sweet ice - mix together the icing sugar, milk and vanilla flavouring until the mixture is thick but still runny. Pour the sweet ice over the cooled chocolate-pumpkin cake and serve. Have a good run!
