Hi chocoholic!
Let me first quickly introduce myself: I''m Nina Kastelic and for the last three years I''ve been creating my culinary website Leaneen, where I''ve combined my love for exploring new places, photography, cooking and baking sweets.
If you know me at all, you know that on my website you can find simple recipes for dishes made with ingredients found in almost every kitchen. I''m all about authentic, familiar and homemade flavours. As a qualified ethnologist and cultural anthropologist, preserving my grandmother''s recipes, which are almost 60 years old, is also extremely important to me. That''s why I often share her recipes on my website, or even cook with her.
The beginning of a sweet chocolate story
Andrag, the owner of Mojačokolada.si, and I met about 10 years ago when we were attending high school in Poljanska together. Back then, I had no idea that I would ever be able to create my own culinary website, let alone inspire and help over 100,000 readers a month. But life really does surprise us again and again, and so this year our paths crossed again.

Andraž approached me with the very interesting information that they are about to launch a new brand of baking chocolate , BAM by Mojačokolada.si. His wish was to be able to offer "mere mortals", in a smaller package, a premium baking chocolate that until now has only been used by the best confectioners. They even managed to strike a deal with Callebaut, the largest Belgian chocolate company in the world, to be their manufacturer of BAM chocolates. I was quite excited about his idea, because I had been missing something like this on the Slovenian market.
Together we started to write a sweet chocolate story, the story of BAM by Mojačokolada.si. I became an ambassador for products that I truly believe in and simply love, as I have been using certain products, such as Callebaut white chocolate, in my confectionery for over a year. The new BAM chocolate brand has so quickly become my favourite.
Why do I love BAM chocolate?
The first reason why I like it so much is quite simple - it tastes great. Which, on the other hand, can sometimes be a bit of a problem when the "sugar drops", because I always have chocolate in stock for baking... :)
The other reason is that chocolate mel ts very nicely and is really easy to create with. Baking with BAM chocolate has become a real pleasure and it always makes all my desserts turn out exactly as I imagine them.
At the beginning of my culinary journey, I had a big problem with white chocolate. I tried almost all the ones you can buy in physical shops and I wasn''t happy with any of them. Some I didn''t like the taste, others didn''t melt well, others even curdled. Then, about a year ago, I found and tried Callebaut white chocolate on Mojačokolada.si ... The difference was amazing! The chocolate melted very quickly and beautifully and even if I boiled the water, it didn''t crumble (which happens almost always with other chocolates).
The result of my first use of white chocolate are the cake pops in the photo. It was only the second time I''d ever made them and, precisely because I had a top-quality chocolate coating, they turned out almost perfectly.
