Banana bread is a delicacy whose popularity knows no geographical or cultural boundaries! It has a nice, juicy taste and is a great idea for using up the (over)ripe bananas that are lying around in the kitchen. Why throw them away when you can make a delicious warm banana bread that goes perfectly with a hot cup of coffee in the morning or afternoon tea?

Ingredients for banana bread:

3-4 mashed bananas
2 beaten eggs
125 g butter
170 g flour
2 handfuls of walnuts
150 g brown sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 packet of baking powder
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon BAM vanilla paste
BAM hazelnut spread with cocoa
BAM salted caramel topping
1 teaspoon BAM spice mix Sugar Love
BAM white chocolate

Instructions:

Procedure:

Mash the bananas and pour the melted butter over them. Stir in the eggs, sugar, vanilla paste, and spices. Put the baking powder and flour in a bowl and mix well. If desired, white chocolate drops can be added to the mixture for a fuller flavor. Pour the mixture into the greased baking tray and sprinkle with walnuts. Bake at 180 °C for about 50 minutes.

Drizzle with BAM Salted Caramel Topping or spread with BAM Hazelnut Spread with Cocoa when cut into pieces. If desired, serve with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
