Melt the edible chocolate chunks and softened butter in a pan over a water bath. Cook until the chocolate is completely melted. Stir several times in between.

Then whisk the egg yolks and sugar separately. Add the melted chocolate, milk, flour and baking powder to the mixture. Whisk the egg whites separately until stiff and creamy.

Add the egg white mixture to the mixture and prepare a baking tray lined with baking paper and pour half of the mixture into it. Place half of the sour cherries on top and then pour the remaining mixture over them. Sprinkle over the rest of the sour cherries.

Place the baking tray in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes. Serve the chocolate tart with sour cherries cooled and decorated if desired - you can pour melted chocolate over it or just sprinkle it with icing sugar. Enjoy!
