The panna cotta in this recipe is topped with a toffee topping. There is a bit of confusion when you call the cream toffee topping itself, as it is spelled toffee, but we often see the term toffe, so in this recipe we will use the term toffe, which is familiar to everyone.

Place the gelatine leaves in a bowl filled with cold water. Place the cream, milk and vanilla seeds in a bowl and bring to a simmer.

Add the sea salt and stir. Add the peeled gelatine leaves to the cream with the cream and vanilla pod. Stir well to dissolve the gelatine completely.

Strain the mixture into jars or prepared panna cotta moulds. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving. Place the BAM Toffee Caramel Topping in a saucepan and heat just enough to melt it slightly. Then pour it over the panna cotta and serve.
