Apple season is upon us! In addition to apple pie, you can also stuff apples into apple crumble or, even better, make apple crumble muffins. The muffins will be full of apple chunks and topped with a buttery crumble topping and vanilla glaze!

- Use milk AND Greek yoghurt: the combination of thick creamy yoghurt and tangy milk will create the perfect apple crumble muffins. If you don''t have Greek yoghurt on hand, you can use plain yoghurt.
- Over-mixing the batter can result in dense, dried-out muffins. If you want a juicy and soft centre, stir the ingredients just long enough for them to come together.
- Bake the muffins at a higher temperature for the first five minutes, then lower the temperature. If you follow this advice, you will allow the baking powder to do its job and create a domed top. After 5 minutes, lower the temperature to prevent the muffins from burning.
