Apple strudel is a well-known dish made from puff pastry and apple filling. Just before you wrap the strudel, sprinkle the BAM Strudel & Pie Spice blend over the filling. The blend contains five aromatic spices that enrich this simple dish with their intertwining flavours and aromas. You can also use it to make pies, baked apples, Imperial's Mess, apple soufflés, cheesecakes, etc.

Product description

Apple strudel is a dish that is not only popular in Slovenia, but is also often prepared in Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, etc. The main ingredients are puff pastry and apple filling with aromatic spices. Sprinkle the Strudel & Pie spice mix on the dough before the strudel is rolled. To make the pastry even juicier, brush it a few times during baking with a coating made from a little butter, sugar and excess apple juice. During the baking process, your house will smell wonderfully of apples and an aromatic mixture of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, vanilla, pimento and sugar. Once you've practised making the dough, you've got a delicious and homemade treat that makes your everyday life a little more festive.

BAM Strudel & Pie spice mix is also perfect for apple pie. Use it to sweeten grated apples, or sprinkle it on top of the pie. You can also use the spice mix to make baked apples, Emperor's mess, apple soufflé, apple chutney, etc.

How to store

Store at room temperature (between 15-25°C) in a dry and dark place. Keep in an original container. The product should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Avoid refrigerated storage.
